Engl 1301 Composition
I
A study of the principles and techniques
of written compositions including sentence structure, paragraph
development, and paper organization. Also stresses the development
of critical thinking as it applies to the textual analysis of
expository prose.
We will learn to synthesis information,
organize it through an outline, and then convey it in a 500 word
theme. You will find the approach easy to understand even if you
have had problems with English in the past. The system will help you
in your other classes and writing in your career. This should be the
first course every college student takes.
